About XChat Review
An independent, reader-supported guide to XChat — the new encrypted messaging app from X Corp.
What we do
XChat Review publishes hands-on reviews, step-by-step tutorials, and side-by-side comparisons of XChat. We test every feature ourselves, write in plain English, and update our guides whenever XChat changes.
Our review methodology
Every guide on this site is based on actual use of the XChat app. For each review or tutorial, we:
- Install XChat on real devices (iPhone and iPad)
- Test every feature described in the article
- Verify claims against official X Corp announcements
- Re-test after each major XChat version update
When we compare XChat to other apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, iMessage), we test both apps on the same device in the same scenarios.
Editorial independence
XChat Review is not affiliated with X Corp, Elon Musk, or any messaging app company. We have no partnerships, sponsorships, or commercial relationships with any of the products we review.
This site is supported by display advertising. Ads are served by automated networks and do not influence our editorial coverage.
